Looks great on my desk.
I was impressed with this headphone stand as soon as I opened the box and saw the quality of the parts. This is a very well-made product. The most favorable thing about it (imo) is the flexibility of the top piece your headphones rest upon. Other stands use a rigid part that, over time, will deform the inside of the headband due to the weight of the headphones pressing down on the hard (and usually fairly small) surface. I am planning on buying a second one for another pair of 'phones I own. I totally recommend this headphone stand without hesitation. I have not been compensated or otherwise encouraged to write a positive review.
It is perfect to organize my Audio Technica headphones. There are good grips on the bottom but make sure you remove the plastic off of them otherwise they're useless.
Got this because I was tired of putting my headphones over my adjustable lamp wire. This sits on top of my shelf above my desk. Love the minimal design and matches my black headphones just fine. I have bluetooth headphones so if you are wired, yes there is no cable management. Either wrap it around the post or let it dangle off somewhere. There are sticky pads on the bottom to make a tight seal on any surface but easy enough to pull off if need be and doesn't leave a mess.
This is an awesome simple design for headphones. Its best feature it that the top part that holds the headphones is made out of rubber to it bends to the shape of the headphones you have. This is important since the foam on the headband of headphones could get messed up if it was a full metal or plastic design. I got one of these stands (black) for my video editing/studio headphones but I think ill be getting another one for my Xbox headphones.
