Q: I need to remove my CableDrop from a surface - what's the best way to do it?
A: The best way to remove a CableDrop is to pull it off so the foam adhesive comes off of the CableDrop and remains on the surface it was attached to. This is generally what will happen if you pull them off slowly. If the CableDrop is difficult to remove, use a flat item for leverage - like a ruler. Gently wedge it under the CableDrop to lift it from the adhesive. Another great way to cut through the adhesive is to use dental floss: cut a piece of floss and gently use it to saw through the adhesive under the CableDrop. Once the CableDrop is off, you'll have the foam tape left on the surface. Use your thumb to gently roll the tape off. Avoid pulling the tape away from the surface. If any adhesive residue remains, use a product safe for your surface (perhaps a degreaser or rubbing alcohol) to remove it. Be sure to read the product directions to ensure it's safe for your surface prior to using it.
Q: I received my white cable drops and they seem to be gray - is this normal?
A: Yes. The white cable drops are slightly gray / off-white. This helps them stay cleaner longer.
Q: If I order Quick Peek printed labels, do I need to purchase credits as well?
A: No. The pre-printed labels work without credits so you don't need to buy anything else. Only the print-your-own labels available in the app require credits.
Q: If I print some of my own labels along with the pre-printed labels, will the numbers overlap?
A: No. The pre-printed labels and print-your-own labels have different label ID numbers so you'll never have any overlap.
